Sony Pictures Television and Creation Entertainment, the Glendale, California based producer of fan conventions and merchandise, today announced a relationship to produce unique immersive gatherings for the passionate audience that follows the acclaimed Sony Pictures Television produced Starz original series Outlander.Inspired by the best-selling books by Diana Gabaldon and developed for television by Ronald D. Moore, Outlander is set apart by its rare combination of fantasy, action, strong central romance and a feminist focus, that has carried the award-winning series through to a fourth season tentatively set to premiere in 2018. Filmed in Scotland, South Africa and other exotic locations which offer unique settings for its time-travel story-telling, the series stars Sam Heughan as Jamie Fraser and Caitriona Balfe as Claire Beauchamp, alongside an equally talented ensemble of performers and fan favorites that make up the supporting cast.Creation Entertainment’s events differ from other fan conventions, in that they do not sell more tickets than available seats in the main theatre, so attendees are assured of seeing the stars and events that they want to without worry or extra waiting. By creating far more theatrically produced events, Creation Entertainment allows the attending celebrities to reveal more of their creative talents in an immersive, live entertainment experience. When purchasing reserved ticket options, patrons also have the opportunity to pick out their actual seats. The Official Outlander Conventions also feature a beloved cast member who serves as the convention MC/host, opening up the celebrity interactions to more ad lib commentary; a gala musical concert presentation on Saturday Night features
select cast members highlighting their performance skills to the attendees.
